Jiyugaoka is a very fashionable town with many sophisticated shops and cafes and very crowded with many people every weekends. It is selected one of the most preferable towns to live every year. It is not too much to say that MONT-BLANC is a synonym for Jiyugaoka. The shop opened in 1933 when the cake shop was really new in Japan and created the standard of Japanese sweets. The shop has been loved by local people in Jiyugaoka for long.
The most popular cake is the same name as shop, MONT-BLANC. The balance of a sponge cake, fresh cream, yellow chestnut paste and white meringue is perfect. There is a tea room inside and you can have your favorite cake in chic comfortable atmosphere. They serve a variety of cakes and it is hard to chose one!

DALLOYAU is an old established sweet shop from Paris and located just in front of Jiyugaoka station. The shop has a elegant appearance with white wall and red cover and is noticeable. It is well known as beautiful luxury cakes and rich tastes.The tea room inside is large and you can have not only cakes but also meals. DALLOYAU’s colorful macaroons and rich chocolate cakes called Opera is one of the most popular gifts in Tokyo. No doubt they will make your family and friends, especially women very happy. It is also good that open hours is late until 10:00pm.

Jiyugaoka Rollya is a roll cake specialty shop and sells a wide variety of roll cakes from simple ones to seasonable fruits ones. Rollya is produced by a famous Japanese patissier, Mr. Hironobu Tsujiguchi and often is mentioned by TV and magazines. On weekends there are many customers waiting in a queue. The shop logo resembles a roll cake is also cute. Once you taste it, you cannot forget the softness of the sponge cake and very smooth cream. Also as it is light on the sweetness, it is popular among all generations.

Quolofune is an old established Japanese sweet shop. The main item is Japanese sponge cake called Castella but a variety of items are sold from Japanese sweets to baked items such as baumkuchen, rusks and cookies. A bean‐jam pancake called Dorayaki is also popular in Quolofune. There is a Japanese modern style tea room on second floor and you can have freshly made sweets with Japanese tea and coffee. You can have relaxed time in comfortable atmosphere with tasty sweets.
