Royce Chocolate World is the chocolate theme park where you can see the exhibition concerned chocolate and the product making process through the glasses.

Doraemon Waku Waku Sky Park is certainly the theme park of Doraemon, a famous and popular cartoon character. There is a space called “park zone” where you can experience the world of Doraemon with additional charge. The park includes kid’s free zone, library, cafeteria and shops, etc.

Hello Kitty Happy Flight is the theme park newly opened in July 22, 2016. Hello Kitty will take you to the world tour to meet Sanrio characters living all over the world. Shops and cafeteria space are certainly included in the space.

Yuki Miku Sky Town is the museum and shop where you can meet life-size Yuki Miku (snow version of Hatsune Miku). It contains theater where you can feel the attractiveness of Hokkaido and Hatsune Miku by the screen provides 360-degrees view in a circle. Of course, you can get limited items of Hatsune Miku at the shop.

 

Learning Spots and Relaxing Spots

If you are interested in airplanes and airports, Airport History Museum and Sky Museum may be the places you should go. At the Airport History Museum, you can learn the history how New Chitose Airport was built in history zone, uniforms of cabin attendants and event goods in gallery zone and models of successive airplanes in symbol zone. At the Sky Museum, there is a flight simulator that you can feel like to be a pilot. In addition, children can wear the uniform of pilot or cabin attendant.

In the case you have long waiting time for your transit, it may be good to go to the movie theater. There are 3 theaters that open from 9:00 AM to mid-night.

Surprisingly, there is a spa named Shin-Chitose Kuko Onsen. When you get tired of walking, it is strongly recommended to go to spa that opens from 10:00 Am to 9:00 AM. The set including entrance fee, bath towel, face towel, usage charge and tax costs 1,500 yen per adult, 800 yen for elementary school children and 600 yen for preschool children over 3-year old. You need to be reminded that babies with diapers are prohibited to use the spa. In addition, you are required to pay additional charges of 1 ,500 yen for midnight use after 1:00 AM and 800 yen for early morning use from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM. There are 11 rooms in the facility to stay night with additional charge, too.
