This cafe, Sarasa Nishijin, was renovated from hot spring inn, so it apparently doesn’t look like cafe as you imagine. Interior decoration looks old due to furniture and mysterious tiles.

#4. Kamogawa Cafe

Kamogawa cafe has different atmosphere from cafes above. It looks like an old apartment from outside, but once you step into the 2nd floor entrance, you can see a bit old western style room. Wooden interior accessories and high ceiling give you an open feeling.

If you get hungry while you read books, you should order some meals, a cake or an affogato which includes 3 scoops of ice cream.

Almost all of you will want something sweet when you drink coffee, then order a cake there. Recommendation is the cheesecake because it has rich taste and melt in your mouth. This cafe is quiet, so it’s good to concentrate on studying and reading books.
