#1. Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition – Ibaraki
Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition is known as one of the biggest fireworks competition in Japan where pyrotechnics from all over the country come to compete their techniques. The wide starmines that are presented by committee will be launched around 7pm, and you will enjoy the big flower in the night sky.

#2. Konosu Fireworks Festival – Saitama
This festival started in 2002 organized by Youth Division of Konosu City Chamber of Commerce and Industry aiming at revitalization of the city, and has been organized by them every year since then. This starmine is called “Phoenix Dance (鳳凰乱舞)”, as it is so beautiful and dynamic as if phoenix is dancing. The highlight of the event is the starmine with “4 shakudama (4尺玉)” and “shakudama” launched, which is the finale of this event.

#3. 2016 Kita-ku Fireworks Festival – Tokyo
This Fireworks show is organized by private sectors of Kita ward, Tokyo. Fall festival at the local shopping area, small music live show and jazz live are scheduled before and after the fireworks, so you can enjoy the whole day here! This local resident led fireworks show is perfect for family and couple as it won’t be as crowded as other summer shows.

#4. Fujisawa Enoshima Fireworks Festival – Kanagawa
There are 2 big fireworks events in this area, but by far, this one is more popular than one in summer for its scale. The view of 3,000 fireworks launched above Enoshima is spectacular! You should not miss their extra-large 2 shakudama (2尺玉), which become 480m in diameter in the sky. Oh, do not forget to bring your jacket, it might get cold as it is scheduled in the middle of October.

#5. Narita Fireworks Festival in Inbanuma – Chiba
At this Narita Fireworks display, about 10,000 fireworks will be launched and light up the autumn sky of Inbanuma.There is almost 100,000 spectators every year to enjoy this audience participating fireworks display. This is probably the only fireworks display that audience can participate, and this unique style won good design award in 2010. You will also enjoy the collaboration of beautiful fireworks and fantastic music here.
