Chiba is a prefecture in the Kanto region and near the Greater Tokyo Area in Japan. Some of the most visited spots are Narita International Airport and the Tokyo Disney Resort. These are many family friendly activities in Chiba.

#1. Tokyo Disney Resort

Tokyo Disney Resort is the most popular theme park in Japan. 2016 marks the 15th anniversary for Tokyo Disney Sea, the theme is “wish”. There are “wish” crystals all throughout the park. Since it is an anniversary year, there are limited time goods. The amusements parks are just a short train ride away from Tokyo.

Kawatsura Strawberry Farm opened in 1964, this is one of the longest running family strawberry gardens in Japan. This garden doesn’t have a limit on how many strawberries you can pick.
Kawatsura Strawberry Farm closes once they run out for the day, which is usually in the afternoon. They also are trying to become 100% pesticide free, so there are honeybees flying about in the garden.

Narita-san Shinshoji Temple is the most popular tourist attraction in Narita city, the temple has been popular since the Tokugawa shoguns moved the national capital to Edo in 1603. This temple is near Narita International Airport, so it is easily accessible. This time-honored temple has a history of over 1,000 years. The temple is dedicated to Ācala, the deity is depicted as holding a sword and rope and surrounded by flames. Often called a fire god, he is associated with fire rituals.

Aeon Mall Makuhari New City is a super-huge shopping mall that was built in 2013. There are four buildings with a grand mall, a pet mall, a family mall, and an active mall. There is something for everyone at this mall.

Country Farm Tokyo German Village opened in 2001. There is an amusement park, a petting zoo area, and a large flower garden. You can try different types of German snacks, but there is no restaurant to have a full German meal.

#6. Mother Farm

Mother Farm opened in 1962, this entertainment farm is great for the whole family. There is fun events and delicious food. The farm was founded by Hisakichi Maeda, who started the Sankei Shinbun Daily Newspaper and Tokyo Tower. He built this park to teach the importance of having a thriving livestock industry. Visitors can try things like milking a cow, petting animals at the petting zoo, and berry picking. Enjoy the soft serve ice cream and the Genghis Khan BBQ at the farm. Wonder around the huge flower field, depending on the season there are different flowers.

Kamogawa Sea World is an aquarium with many fishes and marine animals like dolphins, orca whales, and sea lions. A great spot to have a meal is the restaurant Ocean, you can see the ocean from almost every table. Stay at the nearby hotel to get the full Sea World experience.
