At the Red Brick Warehouse, there is the Smart Illumination. The event showcases artistic illuminations, the event started in 2010. After the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in March 2011, people were looking for creative ways to save energy using techniques such as LED lights and solar panels. In 2012 even more people participated and then in 2013 artists, designers, corporations, universities and citizens joined together to build something even more magnificent.
